House Cleaning, Community Support, and Fall Initiatives with Rise and Shine Cleaning
As the leaves begin to change throughout Portland, Oregon, it’s time to prepare our homes and think about giving back to the community. At Rise and Shine Cleaning Service, we take pride in being a locally owned and operated residential house cleaning company that doesn’t just focus on delivering exceptional house cleaning services but also believes in the power of community involvement. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the return of our annual coat and blanket drive in partnership with the Portland Rescue Mission.
Our Annual Coat and Blanket Drive: Share the Warmth with Rise and Shine
Throughout the month of October, we’re inviting all our clients and community members to join us in spreading warmth and kindness through our annual coat and blanket drive. From now until October 30th, you can donate new or gently used coats and blankets that will go directly to those in need, helping them stay warm through the harsh Northwest winter.
Participating is easy:
- Clear Out for a Cause: Take a moment to look through your closets and storage areas. If you have coats or blankets you no longer use, this is the perfect opportunity to declutter while making a difference.
- Donate on Cleaning Day: If you’re already scheduled for house cleaning, just leave your donations out, and our team will collect them for you.
- We’ll Handle the Delivery: Our team will ensure that all donations are delivered to the Portland Rescue Mission, making sure your generosity reaches those who need it most.
Every donation, big or small, makes a real impact. As a community-focused house cleaning service, we’re excited to come together with our clients to give back and support those who may be struggling during the colder months.
Give and Get: House Cleaning with a Purpose
Beyond our coat and blanket drive, we’re also excited to launch our Give and Get promotion in support of Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free house cleaning services to local cancer patients. As part of this fall’s promotion, when you donate $50 to Cleaning for a Reason, you’ll receive $125 off a deep house cleaning from our team.
This offer allows you to enjoy a refreshed, deep-cleaned home while making a tangible difference in the lives of cancer patients in our community. At Rise and Shine Cleaning, we believe that a clean home can be a source of comfort and healing, and we’re proud to support those battling cancer through this meaningful partnership.
Prepare Your Home for Fall: House Cleaning Tips from the Pros
Fall is also a great time to focus on preparing your home for the colder months ahead. Here are a few quick tips from our team of house cleaning experts:
- Deep Clean Your Space: With more time spent indoors, now is the perfect time to schedule a deep clean. Focus on high-traffic areas like carpets, baseboards, and upholstery to clear out dust and allergens accumulated over the summer.
- Declutter Your Home: Fall decluttering can be an excellent way to make space before the holiday season. Clear out unused items from closets, kitchens, and living spaces to give your home a fresh start.
- Check Your Windows and Gutters: Clean your windows and clear out the gutters to prepare for fall rains. This will help prevent water damage and improve your home’s energy efficiency.
House Cleaning and Community Care
At Rise and Shine Cleaning, we are committed to more than just cleaning houses. Our annual coat and blanket drive and Give and Get promotion are just two ways we give back to the community that has supported us for over a decade. Whether through professional house cleaning services or by providing warm clothing to those in need, we’re proud to make a positive impact on Portland and the surrounding area. We invite our clients, friends, and neighbors to join us in supporting these initiatives and making a difference as we head into the holiday season. Thank you for being a part of the Rise and Shine family, and for helping us share warmth, comfort, and care in our community this fall.
