The 26.7-acre Fernhill Park is one of the largest parks in the Concordia neighborhood of Northeast Portland. It features a large off-leash dog area, sports fields and track, playground, picnic shelters, tennis courts, free summer concerts, and more. The park has a mile-plus perimeter dirt loop that’s ideal for interval training and distance work. It also has a few short inclines that make it perfect for fartleks or hill repeats. Just four laps around the track and you’ll have completed a mile.
The newest addition to Fernhill is the Visitor Station, which helps guests understand how water travels through use, treatment, and back to the Tualatin River.
